Boat Slip Rental Policies 

1.  A slip will not be rented to any individual with an outstanding delinquent account. 
  
2.  All slip rentals are subject to availability. 
  
3.  Any vessel for which there is no current Berthing Permit and Rental Agreement on file will be subject to daily rates. 
  
4.  In order to encourage prompt check-in, any moorage due that is older than one month at the time a new Berthing Permit is signed will not be switched to the new permit rate.  It will remain the responsibility of the vessel owner at the daily rate. 
  
5.  In order to rent a slip, the applicant must first present for inspection and copying either the official documentation or state registration for their vessel.  The documentation or registration must be current. 
  
6.  If the vessel is newly purchased, the applicant must first present for inspection and copying the bill of sale for the vessel.  In addition, the new documentation or registration must be presented within 60-days of the initial signing of the Berthing Permit and Rental Agreement or the agreement will be terminated. 
  
7.  All legal owners of the vessel, as listed on the documentation or registration, must sign the Berthing Permit and Rental Agreement within 60-days of initial application or the agreement will be terminated. 

• All totals are rounded to the nearest dollar.
• Fees are calculated based upon the length of the slip or the overall length of the vessel, whichever is greater.
• Vessels of an overall length greater than 10% over the slip length must have authorization from the CEO/Harbormaster before tying in the slip.
• Additional Liveaboard Fees:  $300.00 per month for up to two individuals.  Each additional individual is $75.00 per month.  Liveaboards will also have their electricity metered and will be charged for their actual use.
• A credit inquiry and non-refundable application processing fee may be required in advance from any and all individuals or businesses who request to lease Harbor space.

• Season runs from May 1st through October 31st.
• Reservations:  reservations are accepted for the full season at the Outer Basin only.  An individual may reserve the same slip they are renting in the current year by November 15th.  After November 15th, individuals may reserve any available slip on a first-come, first-served basis.  For any reservation, a deposit of $50.00 is required.  Final payment is due April 1st.  If final payment is not received by April 1st, one-half of deposit is forfeited.  A deposit does not guarantee a rate; rates are subject to change.  A deposit also does not guarantee a specific slip; dock and slip configuration are subject to change.
• No commercial vessels shall be allowed to moor in the Outer Boat Basin except those which have been grandfathered in.
• Outer Basin tenants who rent a seasonal slip may rent an Inner Basin slip from the end of that season until the beginning of the next season if there are excess 30' or 40' slips available in the Inner Basin.  The moorage rate for the Inner Basin period will be one-half of the usual Inner Basin semi-annual rate and is due by November 1st.  No reservations are allowed for the Inner Basin.  Should payment of Inner Basin moorage be made prior to November 1st, and no excess alips are then available, Inner Basin moorage will be refunded in full.  Payment prior to November 1st does not guarantee a rate; rates are subject to change.  Refunds requested for unforeseeable occurrences are subject to a $25.00 processing fee.  Reservations for the following season at the Outer Basin are subject to the usual requirements as listed above.
